Tables

The mid-century modern design, with its understated simplicity, keeps the focus on the beauty of the wood top. It can be easily scaled to any size including coffee tables, end tables, dining room tables, hall tables and lap desks. Most of the tables featured in this gallery were made with reclaimed and salvaged wood, although custom orders can be made with any type of wood species desired.

Farmhouse style tables are also available and can be made as coffee tables, end tables or even dining room tables. These are built using new lumber and most commonly finished using a white paint on the base with a dark stained top. Farmhouse designs can be scaled to many different sizes and custom options are available.

Boxes

I have a lot of fun making these boxes because I get to experiment with so many different design ideas. I make a lot of my own wood stock for them by gluing up smaller pieces to form interesting patterns. Some of the wood is new lumber like the ones made from solid oak or Brazilian cherry, while many others are made with reclaimed and remnant lumber.

These boxes can be made to any custom size. Smaller boxes are suitable for storing keepsakes, candy, recipe cards, etc. The larger sizes make unique collection boxes for wedding cards or decorative storage on a living room shelf.

Shelves

Solid hardwood bookcases are a classic of home décor. All bookcases are custom built with options in wood species, shelf thickness and overall dimensions. Dado style joinery adds strength and craftsmanship to each shelf making it suitable for a full load of books or collections of sports memorabilia.

A black pipe shelf is a great way to add storage to any room. Since the wood tends to be thicker than most shelves it is a sturdy design and the black pipe contrasts very well with the stained wood. These shelves can be easily customized in overall size and shelf spacing.
